Desert run

A solo patrol of two red kangaroos makes its way through the Australian outback desert, facing the dangers of extreme heat.

This personal project was created in Blender as part of a self-imposed challenge to complete the entire project within a maximum of three hours. This particular project was completed in just 90 minutes, from start to finish.
The heat wave effect has been generated in a single render pass, using geometry and shader nodes.
