I finally had some time to develop my LAMH/Catalyzer plugins further, introducing an advanced clump engine which allows for unprecedented realism and variations on fur, hair and also feathers. Here is a provisional series of images showing early debug renders on my new Lion model.
Especially the mane, although work in progress and not complete, is taking advantage of latest code improvements, you can notice formations of clumps especially around the forehead and specific established areas. More development stages to go, to refine the clump engine and couple it with better curl and frizz effects. Stay tuned for further news...
